Product Structure Description:

1. Consists of two parts: the Quartz Ozone Tube and the Adjustable High Voltage Power Supply.

2. Structure and features of the Quartz Tube: Made with inner electrode (316L stainless steel), outer electrode (aluminum alloy heat sink), dielectric material (quartz tube with ≥99.7% silicon dioxide content), PVDF and fluoroelastomer sealing components. Outer electrode is air-cooled. Gas port size is 8*10mm quick-connect, connected using 8*10MM or 7*9 oxidation-resistant tubing (e.g., PTFE tube). The main features of the quartz tube generator are high dielectric constant, good dielectric toughness (less prone to breakage during transport), low coefficient of thermal expansion, and gas source pressure resistance up to 0.3MPA. Normal service life is generally 20,000 hours.

3. High Voltage Power Supply structure and features: Vacuum epoxy high voltage transformer; FR4 circuit board PCB; short circuit and open circuit protection; adjustable power; normal service life over 8,000 hours.

 

Equipment Application Description

The KZ-20G Quartz Tube Ozone Generator Accessory is the core component of an ozone machine. The supplied gas source can be either oxygen or air. It can be used in places requiring ozone sterilization or purification, typically applied in water treatment or air treatment.

 

Equipment Installation and Usage Instructions

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 1: Mount the high voltage power supply and ozone tube on an insulated board. Fix the insulated board inside the equipment chassis. Important: The ozone tube and high voltage power supply must be at least 3 centimeters away from the metal chassis shell (if the high voltage part is too close to the metal chassis, it may cause high voltage eddy currents, affecting operation or causing damage). Position the ozone tube within the convective airflow space inside the chassis, ensuring the chassis fan can blow onto the ozone tube's heat sink during operation, guaranteeing stable air-cooling for the outer electrode. Connect cooling water using tubing with ID 8~10mm, ensuring no leaks. Cooling water flow rate > 1L/MIN, temperature not higher than room temperature.

Step 2: Installation of gas inlet and ozone outlet: The gas ports on the ozone tube are not designated as inlet or outlet; either end can be used. The inlet tubing material can be silicone or PVC tube. The outlet must be connected using oxidation-resistant tubing (e.g., PTFE tube, fluoroelastomer tube), ensuring no gas leaks. The gas supplied to the ozone tube inlet, whether oxygen or air, must be clean, dry, temperature not exceeding 45℃, and humidity not exceeding 70% RH.

Step 3: Check wiring: Connect the high voltage wires to the two electrodes of the ozone tube. Ensure the two high voltage wires do not touch each other. If their installation positions cause them to touch, insulate one wire using a 2mm thick rubber sleeve. No other wires or objects inside the chassis should touch the high voltage wires.

Installation Usage Note: Red high voltage wire connects to the aluminum heat sink. Yellow high voltage wire connects to either fixed collar on the ends of the ozone tube.

 

Usage Precautions

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Upon receiving the goods, please inspect the equipment for any damage or missing parts before proceeding with installation and use.

2. During component installation, handle with care to avoid dropping and damage.

3. After installation, carefully check the gas lines and electrical circuits for any issues before powering on.

4. Ensure the high voltage is not leaking to the chassis shell during installation. High Voltage Hazard.

5. Prohibited for use in flammable or explosive environments.

6. Ensure good convective air cooling. The operating temperature of the ozone tube must not exceed 60℃.

7. Ozone concentration at the outlet is high. Avoid prolonged human exposure to ozone. After stopping the machine, allow ozone in enclosed spaces to naturally decompose for 60 minutes before entering.

8. Do not open the chassis cover unless you are a qualified technician. General electricians should only open the chassis cover after consulting professional maintenance personnel.

9. When the equipment is used for water treatment, ensure the gas-water mixing device prevents water from flowing back into the ozone tube's gas path, as this could cause a high voltage short circuit.

 

 

Routine Maintenance

1. The installed equipment should be placed in a dry, ventilated, and clean environment with an ambient temperature between -7~40℃ and relative humidity below 85% RH.

2. Maintenance must be performed with the power disconnected.

3. Regularly inspect the ventilation grilles on the equipment. Remove and clean them thoroughly if significant dust accumulation is found.

4. The equipment can operate continuously 24 hours per day, but ensure adequate ventilation and heat dissipation.

5. When cleaning, wring out wet cloths thoroughly; do not allow water droplets to splash into the machine interior.
