1. high voltage discharge generator
This kind of ozone generator uses the high frequency power supply system, causes the oxygen molecule inside or around the electric field to produce the ozone. The ozone generator has the advantages of mature technology, stable operation, long service life and large ozone production.

Ozone generator will produce a lot of heat energy when working, need to be cooled, otherwise ozone will be due to high temperature and edge decomposition. The cooling effect of the water-cooled generator is good, the work is stable, the ozone has no attenuation, and it can work continuously for a long time.

Quartz tubes are often used by some high performance ozone generators because of their high dielectric constant, uniform wall thickness, good ellipticity, high temperature resistance and moisture resistance. ceramic plates are easy to brittle and only suitable for some small generators. 4. working principle
when the oxygen-containing gas passes through the discharge gap between the two electrodes, some oxygen molecules (O2) are converted to ozone (O3) to achieve ozone preparation (see figure 1). when there is a varying high voltage on the high-voltage electrode, a microdischarge occurs at the discharge gap between the electrodes. oxygen molecules are decomposed into free-state oxygen atoms O, and partial free-state oxygen atoms recombine with undivided oxygen molecules to form ozone (O3), which is O+O2=O3, known as "corona discharge" or "silent discharge ".
In fact, only part of the electrical energy applied to the electrode is used to prepare ozone, which also produces heat during the preparation process, which requires cooling water to effectively cool the ozone generation module. Ozone preparation process is significantly affected by the quality of raw gas and the temperature of cooling water. The lower the temperature, the higher the ozone preparation efficiency.

Ozone is a broad-spectrum sterilization, all kinds of bacteria and viruses have a strong killing effect. The ozone gas produced has strong oxidation, catalysis and so on, viruses and bacteria in ozone gas due to the action of a variety of free radicals, protein dissociation and denaturation, nucleic acid and enzyme activity reduced, thus disinfection sterilization and purification of air; ozone and formaldehyde, carbon dioxide, xylene and other toxic and harmful gases degradation, oxidation and other complex physical and chemical reactions, and by-products non-toxic harmless, can avoid secondary pollution.

VIII. Sterilization capacity
ozone is highly oxidizing and is recognized by the world as a broad-spectrum and high-efficiency fungicide. its oxidation ability is higher than chlorine. it can sterilize 600-3000 times faster than chlorine in water, and even kill bacteria in a few seconds. for common escherichia coli, streptococcus faecalis, pus bacillus, staphylococcus aureus, mold and so on, the killing rate can reach more than 99% for 5 minutes in an environment with ozone concentration of 0.3 PPM. The effect of sterilization and disinfection is almost instantaneous. When the ozone concentration in water reaches 0.3-2 mg/L, the bacteria can be killed within 0.5-1 min. The amount of ozone water needed to achieve the same sterilization effect (e. g.,99% killing rate) is only 0.0048% of chlorine.
